Raleigh defeats Charlotte 12-2
The Raleigh bats remained hot on Thursday morning, powering the Warriors past the Charlotte Stampede 12-2 in 5 innings to secure the final spot in the Division 1 bracket.
The Warriors broke it open in the third inning scoring nine runs on seven hits. Sam Bevin led his team at the plate going 3-3 with 2 RBIs. Houston Sarvis started on the mound for Raleigh, allowing zero runs on only one hit for three innings.
Raleigh is a consistent and familiar face in D1, and has multiple finals appearances over the last decade. They are still searching for their first ever HWSA championship.
