The Final Four

Thursday’s Division 1 action did not disappoint, with four teams advancing to the semifinals on Friday. Here’s who is still competing for the Hendricks Cup.

Mansfield Knights

A brand new team formed by Daniel Sweet, the former head coach of the Carrollton TACA Storm.  Coach has a history of D1 finishes in the HWSA, including 7th place in 2021 and 3rd place 2023.  Will this be the first year we see a new team make the championship?

Raleigh Warriors

The Warriors are a storied program with D1 finishes the majority of recent years, including 8th place last year, BUT which has struggled to get to the very top echelon in the last 7 years.  They’re looking for their first championship berth since 2016.

North Houston Falcons

The North Houston Falcons one of the original 6 teams which founded the HWSA in 2000.  The defending champions, who have a total of three championship appearances and 2 championships in the last 8 years.  One of the dominant programs of HWSA’s recent history – can they keep it going?

Carrollton Storm

The Storm is a relatively new program formed in 2018, which has finished in D1 since their second year in 2019, BUT has never made the championship game.  Will this year be the year?
