The Final Four
Thursday’s Division 1 action did not disappoint, with four teams advancing to the semifinals on Friday. Here’s who is still competing for the Hendricks Cup.
Mansfield Knights
A brand new team formed by Daniel Sweet, the former head coach of the Carrollton TACA Storm. Coach has a history of D1 finishes in the HWSA, including 7th place in 2021 and 3rd place 2023. Will this be the first year we see a new team make the championship?
Raleigh Warriors
The Warriors are a storied program with D1 finishes the majority of recent years, including 8th place last year, BUT which has struggled to get to the very top echelon in the last 7 years. They’re looking for their first championship berth since 2016.
North Houston Falcons
The North Houston Falcons one of the original 6 teams which founded the HWSA in 2000. The defending champions, who have a total of three championship appearances and 2 championships in the last 8 years. One of the dominant programs of HWSA’s recent history – can they keep it going?
Carrollton Storm
The Storm is a relatively new program formed in 2018, which has finished in D1 since their second year in 2019, BUT has never made the championship game. Will this year be the year?
