As Friday begins, four teams still have their eyes on the Cochran Cup, while the rest of the field competes to advance through the Division II & III brackets.
The Dallas Angels, Fort Worth Riders, St. Louis Patriots, and Raleigh Warriors begin Friday a mere one game away from the 2011 HWSA World Series Championship Game. The Angels face off against the Patriots at 11:30 12:50PM Friday (rain delay), while the Riders take on the Warriors at 2pm 3:20PM (rain delay). Of the four teams, two have played for the Cochran Cup in past years: Dallas (2005 (won), 2007, 2009, and 2010, all of which they lost against the Atlanta Barons), and Fort Worth (2006, lost to the Oklahoma City Broncos). St. Louis is competing in their first HWSA World Series ever.
Both semi-final games will be broadcast live over the internet – listen live now
